Job Essentials
Fulfills anesthesia pain management roles within acute pain services aligned with Intermountain Healthcare’s mission, vision, and values. Supports processes and collaborates to enhance quality care and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree
- Education from an ACGME or AOA accredited institution
- Active Idaho Medical Licensure or in the process of obtaining licensure
- Privileges at one of the hospitals in the region they represent
- Three years of clinical experience in a surgical service practice setting
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Three years of experience leading successful improvements in clinical settings
- Three years of progressive healthcare leadership experience
- Experience with change management and providing leadership in adapting and implementing new processes or technology that enhance safety
- Experience leading clinicians
- Experience with healthcare communication, coaching, or equivalent experience supporting Experience of Care approaches and standards
- Ability to verbally communicate, hear, and understand spoken information
- Operate computers, telephones, office equipment, and manipulate paper
- See and read computer monitors and documents
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
