About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Anesthesiologist Physician to join a regional team providing care across multiple hospitals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in diverse, high-acuity cases such as orthopedic, vascular, neurosurgery, and cardiothoracic procedures
- Provide medical direction over CRNAs and perform cases personally
- Utilize advanced regional techniques and peripheral nerve blocks
- Teach residents and students, participate in quality improvement and community health initiatives
- Document using Epic EMR and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide flexible, in-house anesthesia services with exposure to complex case mixes
- Participate in teaching, mentorship, and system initiatives
- Engage in community health efforts and quality improvement
Requirements
- Board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology, with certification within five years if applicable
- Active or ability to obtain Michigan medical license, DEA license, and certifications in ACLS/BLS
