Physician Anesthesiology

About the role

This position is in a coastal city on Long Island Sound. It has great schools, plenty of cultural and recreational amenities, diverse dining, and more. It is an excellent location to practice and live.

Responsibilities

• General anesthesia cases including orthopedics, urology, ENT, plastics, and low-risk OB
• Approximately 8,500 pediatric cases and 800 OB cases annually
• Pediatric cardiac cases performed; fellowship in cardiac anesthesia is helpful but not required
• In-house call approximately once per week
• Seven weeks of vacation plus weekly on-campus CME lectures every Friday

Pay

Salary from $380,000.00 to $400,000.00 annually

In-house call approximately once per week

Skills

• Experience with general anesthesia cases including orthopedics, urology, ENT, plastics, and low-risk OB
• Familiarity with pediatric cases and OB cases
• Knowledge of cardiac anesthesia, especially if completed a fellowship
• Ability to work in an academic medical setting
