Physician - Addiction Medical Director

About the role

The Medical Director of Addiction Services will lead the establishment of standards and provide recommendations for evidence-based improvements in substance use and recovery-related work across AtlantiCare's hospitals, emergency departments, and ambulatory care locations. They will oversee pharmacotherapy services and manage other providers, provide consult as the addiction medicine specialist, and collaborate with FQHC programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with scheduled appointments and clinic hours two days a week
• Dedicate one day each week to program development, including overseeing pharmacotherapy services and managing other providers
• Oversee the outpatient bridge clinics and collaborate with FQHC programs
• Provide policy and strategy for AtlantiCare’s Healing Atlantic County initiative

Requirements

• Board Certification in Addiction Medicine
