Medical Director Addiction Medicine

Position Overview

We are seeking a Medical Director Addiction Medicine Physician (M.D. or D.O.) providing comprehensive addiction medicine care to patients with substance use disorders. The position would be 25% inpatient and 75% outpatient practice. In-patient Unit has 20 beds. We also have a Methadone Clinic supporting approximately 620 patients. Position would manage and have oversight of 5 Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioners and 1 Physician. Must be board certified/eligible. Must have completed an ACGME accredited Addiction Medicine fellowship.

Annual Compensation Range

$310,249 - $326,600

Responsibilities

• Perform histories and physical exams and medication management visits, and offers medical care for complications of substance use disorders, as clinically appropriate.
• Engages in all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis and treatment.
• Orders labs, EKGs, and other tests as clinically indicated.
• Leads and/or attends multidisciplinary team meetings in the Addiction Medicine Department.

Qualifications

Must be board certified/eligible. Must have completed an ACGME accredited Addiction Medicine fellowship.

Pay

Salary Range: $310,249 - $326,600 annually
