About the role
We are seeking an acute care surgeon to join a well-established and expanding hospital practice at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. Located in North Central West Virginia, this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care while enjoying the benefits of living in one of West Virginia’s top-ranked communities.
Responsibilities
- Function as an extension of the UHC General Surgery practice
- Provide inpatient consults and ED call coverage
- Assist with rounding and first assist in OR
- Collaborate with inpatient APP’s for additional support
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Current West Virginia Medical License
- Board Certification in Surgery
- Experience in general surgery preferred
