About the role

The Department of Orthopaedics in The MetroHealth System is seeking a board eligible/board certified Orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in spine surgery. The MetroHealth System is a premier academic medical center affiliated with Case Western Reserve University.

Responsibilities

  • Treat a high volume of complex spine trauma cases
  • Develop a busy elective spine practice
  • Participate in the Neuromuscular Skeletal Service Line
  • Contribute to the academic and clinical care of the department
  • Engage in research activities within the department's Clinical Research Center

Requirements

  • Completed or in the process of completing a fellowship in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery
  • Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery
  • Experience in complex spine trauma and elective spine procedures

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Advanced surgical skills in spinal surgery
  • Strong clinical and academic credentials
  • Effective leadership and management skills
