About the role
The Department of Orthopaedics in The MetroHealth System is seeking a board eligible/board certified Orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in spine surgery. The MetroHealth System is a premier academic medical center affiliated with Case Western Reserve University.
Responsibilities
- Treat a high volume of complex spine trauma cases
- Develop a busy elective spine practice
- Participate in the Neuromuscular Skeletal Service Line
- Contribute to the academic and clinical care of the department
- Engage in research activities within the department's Clinical Research Center
Requirements
- Completed or in the process of completing a fellowship in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery
- Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Experience in complex spine trauma and elective spine procedures
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Advanced surgical skills in spinal surgery
- Strong clinical and academic credentials
- Effective leadership and management skills
