Physical Therapy Technician

Job Summary

The Physical Therapy Technician assists licensed therapists with patient care activities, supports front office operations, and helps maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment. No experience is required—training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and team members
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Able to accurately document information for billing purposes
• Computer experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with patient treatment activities as directed and within state guidelines
• Prepare treatment areas and organize equipment and supplies for patient care
• Maintain linen supplies throughout the clinic
• Ensure treatment areas and common spaces remain clean, organized, and safe
• Monitor supply inventory and notify the supervisor when reordering is needed
• Report equipment maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and referral sources
• Assist the Front Office Coordinator with patient check-in/check-out, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and collecting copayments
• Support overall clinic operations and perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director or Administrator
