About the role
The Physical Therapy Assistant, PTA, plays a crucial role in providing patient care under the supervision of licensed physical therapists. Responsibilities include assisting with patient assessments, executing treatment plans, and maintaining patient records.
Responsibilities
- Aid in patient assessments and evaluations
- Execute physical therapy treatments as directed by a licensed therapist
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Valid state license to practice as a PTA
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
