Physical Therapy Office Floater

About the role

The Orthopaedic Center is seeking a full-time PT Office Floater.

Responsibilities

• Insurance verifying for assigned physical therapy clinics
• Working in the call center to assist with answering a high volume of incoming phone calls
• Greeting and assisting with check-in and check-out duties of patients presenting for appointments

Qualifications

• Education: HS/GED
• Experience: Knowledge of data entry and Excel preferred
• Additional Skills: Ability to communicate professionally, both oral and written for clear, legible messages; Pleasant, friendly demeanor with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and all incoming callers and insurance representatives; Must be able to use arms, hands and fingers skillfully; Agile and able to work efficiently in space limited areas; Consistently work at a productive pace; Must readily adapt to frequent schedule changes; Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; Strong customer service skills and problem solving; Outstanding organizational, verbal and writing skills; Independent and highly motivated; Initiative and self-discipline; Proven positive, "teamwork" attitude in work history
