About the Role

We are seeking a Part-Time (minimum 24 hours) Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department in Horseheads, NY. The success of our residents relies on the quality of care provided by our therapists, and we are committed to helping those we treat reach their highest level of independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team environment.
• Demonstrate strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and electronic documentation.
• Maintain good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
• Work effectively in a team setting.

Requirements

• Graduation from a 2-year accredited PTA program.
• Passed state boards and hold a current valid NY PTA license or be eligible for licensure.
• Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or be license-eligible to practice in New York.

Pay

Good Faith Rate Range: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour.
