About the role

This role involves implementing patient care plans under the supervision of a physical therapist, treating patients of all ages through interventions such as therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and aquatic therapy.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Document treatment activities in accordance with policy
• Coordinate with the PT on patient progress and treatment adjustments

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistance
• Licensure as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
• BLS certification
• Board eligible
• Complete required continuing education, especially for acute stroke care
