About the role
Premier Rehabilitation is hiring a passionate and driven Physical Therapy Assistant to join our growing, PT-owned outpatient orthopedic team. With five Mid-Michigan locations in Holt, Lansing (Frandor), Haslett, Howell, and Grand Ledge, we’re expanding due to growth and strong therapist retention, not turnover.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform therapeutic exercises and treatments under supervision
- Document patient progress and treatment plans using AI-powered ambient documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients and families to ensure understanding of care plans
- Participate in structured mentorship programs tailored for new grads and early-career PTAs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address complex patient needs
Requirements
- Licensed or soon-to-be licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in Michigan
- New graduates encouraged to apply
- Skilled communicator and critical thinker
- Passionate about helping people move better, faster, and safer
Qualifications
- Strong academic background in physical therapy
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest in orthopedic and post-surgical care, acute and chronic spine conditions, and vestibular/BPPV
Skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR)
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential patient information
