Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Inpatient Rehab

The role involves implementing patient care plans under the supervision of a physical therapist, treating individuals of all ages. Responsibilities Include Educating patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare providers using effective teaching methods.Following and adjusting treatment plans based on patient response, in coordination with the supervising therapist.Documenting care and outcomes in compliance with organizational policies.Utilizing standardized outcome measures to reflect functional performance accurately.Collaborating with the healthcare team and providing family training as needed.Communicating patient progress, status changes, and discharge plans clearly to the medical team. Qualifications Include Associate’s Degree in a related field.Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) certification.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Completion of continuing education on acute stroke care and successful passing of the board exam. The role requires strong communication, clinical, and documentation skills, with a focus on patient-centered care and team collaboration.
