The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides patient-centered, hands-on care in a home health setting, helping patients improve mobility, strength, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services under a licensed PT's guidance
• Develop individualized plans
• Assist with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and use modalities like ultrasound
• Monitor and document patient progress
• Communicate with the care team
• Educate patients and caregivers
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Participate in team activities

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• Current license or certification
• CPR certification
• Reliable transportation
• Preferred experience in home health
