About the role

A full time (30 hours) Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position is now available at two award-winning sub-acute/skilled nursing facilities in Brattleboro, VT. Both facilities are minutes from Interstate 91 and offer a highly supportive management team focused on patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
  • Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
  • Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
  • Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation

Requirements

  • Must have graduated from a 2 year accredited PTA program, passed state boards and hold a current valid VT PTA license or be eligible for licensure
  • Full time (30 hours) experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and experience with electronic documentation
  • Good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation

Pay

The success of our residents relies on the success of our therapists. We know that providing the highest quality care brings the highest outcome for our residents. The rate range is $26.00 - $35.00 per hour.
