Physical Therapy Assistant - PTA (Full time)

About the role

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position is available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department in Brattleboro, VT. Preferred Therapy Solutions is a company owned and operated by therapists, focusing on appropriate and ethical patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Document patient progress accurately and timely using electronic medical records
• Adhere to regulatory standards and maintain compliance with healthcare policies and procedures

Requirements

• Hold a current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or be license eligible to practice in the state of Vermont
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Experience with electronic documentation systems
• Show attention to detail and timeliness in documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

Good Faith Rate Range: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour

Full-time position (40 hours per week)
