Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

About the role

This role is ideal for a PTA who enjoys working with an active population and wants more than repetitive protocols. You’ll work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary clinic that blends Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Massage, and Fitness — with a strong emphasis on biomechanics and Postural Restoration® principles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Review plans of care and execute progressive treatment strategies
• Monitor patient response and communicate changes to supervising PT
• Support progression of exercise programs and functional retraining
• Maintain timely documentation within required standards
• Contribute to positive patient experience and retention
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers when appropriate

Requirements

• Active Virginia PTA License required

Qualifications

• Patient-centered and organized
• Comfortable adapting within a busy but supportive environment
• Interested in growing clinically — not staying static

Pay

$30–$36/hour depending on experience

Schedule

Open to starting part-time (approximately 20–25 hours/week) with a structured pathway to full-time as caseload grows. Full-time interest is encouraged to apply.
