Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists (PTs) in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans
- Conduct physical therapy treatments, including exercises, activities, and modalities, under the supervision of PTs
- Perform observations, assessments, and evaluations to identify patient needs and progress
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatments and progress
- Collaborate with PTs to modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant studies or related field
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
- Minimum 0 years of experience in physical therapy or related field
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
