Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Responsibilities

• Aid in administering physical therapy treatments as directed.
• Observe and document patient responses during therapy sessions.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Educate patients on prescribed exercises and rehabilitation programs.
• Maintain and organize therapy equipment and treatment areas.
• Support patient recovery through various therapeutic activities and exercises.

Requirements

• Education: Associate Degree from an Accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program
• Experience: 1–2 Years Preferred (but not required)
• Licenses: Valid New York State Physical Therapist Assistant License
