Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

About the role

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Powerback Rehabilitation, you will implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You will work in facility settings, reporting to the Director of Rehab, to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities. Your role involves addressing the whole patient with a focus on individualized care, collaborating with peers, and making referrals as needed to ensure patients thrive. You will ensure patients and their families receive high-quality, compassionate service.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy programs and activities tailored to patient needs.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities.
• Address the holistic needs of patients, treating them as individuals.
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals to other care providers as necessary.
• Ensure patients and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Pay

Posted Salary Range: USD $31.00 - USD $36.00 per hour. Bonus: USD $5,000.00.
