Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

About the role

Applewood Center has a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant opportunity with newly increased rates. We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You will address the whole patient as an individual, execute programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities, adapt to patient needs, collaborate with peers, and make referrals to ensure patients receive the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy programs and activities

• Deliver therapy treatments

• Execute programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities
• Adapt to the needs of the patient
• Collaborate with peers
• Make referrals to help patients get the care they need to thrive
• Ensure patients and their families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice

USD $30.00 - USD $38.00 /Hr.
