Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

About the role

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Powerback, you will implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You will work in facility settings, reporting to the Director of Rehab, and focus on restoring, reinforcing, and enhancing patients' physical abilities while providing compassionate, individualized care. Your role involves collaboration with peers, making referrals as needed, and ensuring patients and their families receive high-quality service in a caring atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy programs and activities tailored to patient needs.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities.
• Address the whole patient, recognizing their individual needs.
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide high-quality, compassionate service to patients and their families.
• Adapt to varied work settings and patient needs with flexibility and joy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Pay

Posted Salary Range: USD $27.00 - USD $34.00 per hour. Sign-On Bonus up to USD $15,000.00.
