About the role
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you help patients get well by implementing physical therapy programs and activities, following developed recovery plans, and delivering therapy treatments. You address the whole patient as an individual, executing programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities. You collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure patients receive the care they need in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
This role reports to the Director of Rehab and is based in a facility setting.
Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy programs and activities
- Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments
- Address the whole patient as an individual
- Restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities
- Collaborate with peers and make referrals as needed
- Ensure patients and families receive high-quality, compassionate care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice

Pay
Posted Salary Range: USD $30.00 - USD $38.00 per hour
Retention Bonus: USD $15,000.00
New Grads: Eligible participants in the Power$TART Program may receive an additional $50,000 stipend paid over 5 years (eligibility requirements and program terms apply).
