Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

About the role

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Powerback Rehabilitation, you will implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You will work in facility settings, reporting to the Director of Rehab, and focus on restoring, reinforcing, and enhancing patients' physical abilities while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy programs and activities tailored to individual patient needs.
• Follow and execute developed recovery plans to help patients regain physical function.
• Deliver therapy treatments in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
• Address the whole patient, recognizing their unique needs and circumstances.
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.
• Ensure patients and their families receive high-quality service in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Pay

Posted Salary Range: USD $32.00 - USD $40.00 per hour. Bonus: USD $15,000.00.
