About the role
As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Powerback Rehabilitation, you will implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You will work in facility settings, reporting to the Director of Rehab, to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities. Your role involves addressing the whole patient with care and compassion, collaborating with peers, and making referrals to ensure patients thrive. Powerback delivers an empowered, patient-centered approach to rehabilitation, focusing on transforming recovery and helping patients regain their strength and independence.
Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy programs and activities tailored to patient needs.
- Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
- Address the holistic needs of patients, treating them as individuals.
- Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure patients and their families receive high-quality service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
- Adapt to the varying needs of patients and find fulfillment in diverse work settings.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.
Pay
Posted Salary Range: USD $30.00 - USD $35.00 per hour. Bonus: USD $5,000.00.
