As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You will address the whole patient, restore and enhance their physical abilities, and ensure they receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.

You will report to the Director of Rehab and work in a facility-based environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement physical therapy programs and activities
  • Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments
  • Address the whole patient, seeing them as an individual
  • Restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities
  • Adapt to the needs of patients and find joy in the variety of work and settings
  • Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure patients receive the care they need
  • Put patients first, ensuring they and their families receive high-quality, compassionate service

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association
  • Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice

Pay

Posted Salary Range: USD $28.00 - USD $35.00 per hour.
