Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities
- Accurately document resident progress in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations
- Educate residents and families on prescribed exercises and safety practices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident care goals
- Maintain a safe, positive, and encouraging therapy environment
Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred, but not required
