About the role
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) joining our team, you're embracing our promise to provide superior patient care that exceeds industry standards as well as patient expectations. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey, offering customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
Dignity Health East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced debilitating effects of severe injury or illness. We are proud to be CARF Accredited for our Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program.
Responsibilities
- Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
- Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
- Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
We seek a team-oriented and patient-focused individual with strong communication skills.
Requirements
- Associate's degree from a PTA program.
- Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
- Current PTA license in state of practice.
- CPR certification required.
