About the role
Intensive Specialty Hospital is a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital that provides various medical services including cardiopulmonary care, ventilator and respiratory care, complex wound care, rehabilitation therapies, addiction medicine, geriatric psychiatry, multidisciplinary pain management, and outpatient counseling.
Responsibilities
- Provide established physical therapy treatments and modalities under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Maintain the highest degree of patient care.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an APTA accredited program.
- Current state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant and must maintain renewal according to the Board of Physical Therapy.
- Preferred long-term acute care and rehabilitation experience.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English, along with good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills with minimal guidance.
- CPR Certification (T123).
