The Role

Our Physical Therapy Assistants are key members of the care team, helping patients restore function, improve mobility, and enhance quality of life under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

  • Provide direct physical therapy interventions to support patient recovery and outcomes.

  • Assist with treatment planning, documentation, and communication of patient progress.

  • Collaborate with patients and the care team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.

  • Maintain a safe, efficient therapy environment following established protocols.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program

  • Current State Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant required

  • BLS/CPR Certification required

Physical Requirements

  • A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time.

  • Both gross and precise motor functions.

  • Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs.

  • Possible exposure to bodily fluids.

  • Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care.

  • Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment.

  • Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.
