Physical Therapy Assistant - PTA

About the Role

Provide treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education to enhance patient well-being within a home care setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and supervise Physical Therapist's treatment plan
• Instruct patients in exercises, gait, ADL, transfer, and safety training
• Monitor and report patient responses and condition changes
• Coordinate care with healthcare team members
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers within scope of practice
• Provide care in diverse home environments regardless of client background

Requirements

• Current license or certification to assist in physical therapy
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or access to transportation
• Availability for weekend rotations

Preferred Skills

• CPR certification
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and mobility assistance

Pay

Offers per visit point pay, hourly rates, and comprehensive benefits, with total earnings based on productivity and local factors.
