About the role
Aspire Senior Living Pleasant Hill is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. You will play a critical role in helping our residents achieve their physical therapy goals in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for residents
- Conduct patient assessments and implement treatment interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide education to residents and their families on physical therapy techniques, exercises, and self-care strategies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our residents
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment plans
- Participate in in-service training and stay up-to-date with best practices in physical therapy
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field
- Current PTA certification in the state of Missouri
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
