Physical Therapy Assistant - PRN

Physical Therapy Assistant Overview: Provides in-home physical therapy services to patients with neuro and/or musculoskeletal disorders under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include: Assessing patients, developing treatment plans, scheduling visits independently, and maintaining documentation. Must handle emergencies, adapt to change, and work effectively with a team. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program, current state licensure, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license. Preferred experience in acute or home care. Skills and Attributes: Strong assessment and treatment planning, excellent communication, good physical health, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, good time management, problem-solving, and independent work capability. Must follow instructions accurately and handle confidential information. Additional duties: Participates in weekend and on-call rotations, interacts regularly with staff, physicians, and the public, and may drive in hazardous conditions.
