About the Role

The Physical Therapist Assistant supports physical therapy services by performing delegated procedures under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. They modify treatment plans based on patient status, document progress, and ensure safe, effective delivery of therapy tailored to patients' age-specific needs. The role involves assessing and managing patient pain, maintaining patient dignity, and addressing safety concerns. They provide technical assistance to the Physical Therapy aide and coordinate departmental workload as directed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant from the relevant State Board
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Certification
