Physical Therapy Assistant - Pediatrics and Adult
About the role
Under the general supervision of departmental leadership, performs physical therapy treatments, provides exercise instructions and demonstrations for patients and does related work as assigned within the scope of Washington Administrative Code. Age of Patients: Pediatric to geriatrics.
Responsibilities
- Performs physical therapy treatments for patients.
- Provides exercise instructions and demonstrations to patients.
- Works within the scope of Washington Administrative Code.
- Age of patients ranges from pediatric to geriatric.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
- Washington Physical Therapy Assistant License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- School clinical experience/rotation.
Qualifications
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
Part-time, 30 hours weekly, Day shift.
