Physical Therapy Assistant - Outpatient Therapy

We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to implement individualized care plans under the supervision of a physical therapist, treating patients of all ages. Responsibilities Include Educating patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare providers using effective teaching methods.Following and adjusting treatment plans based on patient response and evidence, with communication and documentation of updates.Providing therapeutic interventions such as therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and aquatic therapy.Completing accurate documentation and coordinating treatment with the PT and referring providers. Qualifications Include Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistance.Licensed as a PTA in Illinois.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.Board eligibility and successful completion of the next available board exam.Completion of continuing education related to acute stroke patient care.
