Job Summary The Physical Therapist Assistant supports physical therapy services by assisting the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans. They perform delegated physical therapy procedures, modify treatments based on patient progress, and document patient notes. The role involves ensuring patient safety, addressing age-specific needs, and treating patients with respect and dignity. They assess and manage patient pain according to department policies and report safety concerns promptly. The assistant provides technical guidance to the Physical Therapy aide and helps coordinate departmental workload.
