Physical Therapy Assistant - Outpatient, Days

Piedmont Rockdale is a 161-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital in Conyers that has provided compassionate, patient-centered care to Rockdale County and surrounding communities since 1954. We offer 24-hour emergency care, plus most major medical, surgical and diagnostic services.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy for all age groups, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.
• Provides physical therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by a treatment plan established by the physical therapist to enable the patient to reach the highest level of physical independence.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an approved Physical Therapist Assistant program (Required).
• No prior work experience required.
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in the State of Georgia or current compact privileges in Georgia (Required upon hire).
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification (Required upon hire).
