Emerson Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing Outpatient Rehabilitation team.

What You'll Do

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist patients in achieving rehabilitation goals through individualized treatment plans
• Treat a diverse patient population with orthopedic, musculoskeletal, sports medicine, and post-surgical conditions
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Deliver exceptional customer service and promote a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program required
• Experience: 3-5 years of Physical Therapist Assistant experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting required
• Skills: Strong clinical skills and evidence-based treatment knowledge, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced clinical environment, commitment to patient satisfaction, service excellence, and quality outcomes, proficiency with electronic medical records and computer applications, ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
