Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient

About the role

This is a Full-time outpatient PTA position at a dynamic facility in Santa Monica, CA. The position offers a $2000 sign on bonus, 401K with a 4% match, and Paid Continued Education.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating clients' daily living skills and capacities to determine their abilities and limitations.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques including exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, activities of daily living, and Isokinetic program.
• Observe patients during treatments and report observations to the Physical Therapist.
• Communicate with staff and other health team members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs.

Qualifications

• Absorbed Associate Degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure to practice.
• Experience and/or newly licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.
