Physical Therapy Assistant, LPTA

Key Responsibilities

• Perform delegated physical therapy interventions, therapeutic exercises, and mobility activities in alignment with the supervising Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Monitor patient performance and tolerance during treatment sessions and promptly communicate changes, concerns, or progress to the supervising therapist.
• Provide instruction and reinforcement to patients and families on safe mobility techniques, home exercise programs, and use of assistive devices.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments, patient responses, and relevant clinical information in accordance with Trinity Health standards.
• Prepare, clean, and organize therapy equipment and treatment areas to support safety and operational readiness across multiple care settings.
• Collaborate with therapy staff, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care delivery.
