About the role

Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 59-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. The hospital holds Joint Commission Certification with specialty Stroke and Brain Injury Certification and programs, as well as CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility.
  • Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
  • Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
  • Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree from a PTA program.
  • Current PTA license in state of practice.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
