About the role
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for various schedules including PRN, part-time, or full-time. The position involves home health visits to adult and geriatric patients in Williamsburg, VA.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients in achieving or maintaining optimal physical well-being through treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Must have current licensure or certification in the state of VA.
- Must have graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, or have one year of appropriate experience as a PTA and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service.
- Must have at least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
- Perform other activities as requested.
Requirements
- Current licensure or certification in the state of VA.
