Physical Therapy Assistant, Home Health

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for their Senior Living office in Williston, Vermont. The position involves visiting adult and geriatric patients in Washington and Orange County, Vermont.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in achieving or maintaining optimal physical well-being by providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Perform activities as requested by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Current licensure or certification in the state of Vermont.
• Graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, or have one year of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service.
• At least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.

Pay

Base pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation: $37.00-41.00 per hour.
