Physical Therapy Assistant, Home Health

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for home health visits in Vermont. The position involves assisting clients in achieving or maintaining physical well-being through treatment, tests, client education, and interventions as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in achieving or maintaining physical well-being through treatment, tests, client education, and interventions as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Perform duties as requested by supervising Physical Therapist.

Requirements

• Current licensure or certification in the state of Vermont.
• Graduated from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, or have one year of appropriate experience as a PTA and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977.
• At least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

Pay

Base Pay: $38.00 - $41.00 / point depending on qualifications.
