About the role
The Physical Therapy Assistant, PTA, plays a crucial role in providing patient care under the supervision of licensed physical therapists. Responsibilities include assisting in therapy sessions, preparing treatment areas, and documenting patient progress.
Responsibilities
- Aid in conducting therapy sessions as directed by licensed physical therapists.
- Prepare treatment areas and assist in setting up equipment.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care protocols.
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Pay
$20.00 per hour.
Schedule
Mondays through Fridays, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
