About the role
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position at Cornerstone Rehabilitation is a part-time role available on a PRN (Per Request) basis. This role requires strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Help patients with exercises and activities to improve their physical function
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA)
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
