About the role
Responsible for providing physical therapy services under the supervision of licensed physical therapists. Assist patients in achieving their functional goals through exercise, manual therapy, and patient education.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients in performing exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility.
- Administer passive range of motion exercises and manual therapy techniques.
- Provide patient education on proper body mechanics and injury prevention.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in the electronic health record system.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Licensed Physical Therapist Associate (LPTA).
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
- Experience working in a clinical setting preferred.
