Physical Therapy Assistant
About the role
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position at Cornerstone Rehabilitation is a PRN (per diem) opportunity. This role supports the rehabilitation team in providing patient care under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with exercises and treatments as directed by physical therapists.
- Help maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA).
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
- Current CPR certification.

Pay
